Loch Eribol October 2025
 Very heavy lifting happening around Loch Eribol, thanks to the galvanising efforts of Susanne working with the local fish farm to clean up the shoreline.
At least 600 kilograms removed!

Balchladich beach
Out to Balchladich beach to have a look and see how bad it is. Happy to report that the North beach towards Raffin is looking not too bad, will probably just need a single days clean this year.
The main beach looking great thanks to all the volunteers hard work over the last few months.
Decided to tackle the bit of beach over the stream as stuff was obviously gathering there. In 2 hours Rach and I managed to remove 95kg of plastic, mostly ropes and a few larger pieces of plastic including a 10kg mooring buoy from the North beach. A few bits of feed pipe needing collected up so will have to come back as no space left in the car
Crossapol beach clean on Coll
Organised by the RSPB and Scottish Coastal Clean Up. In 4 hours 26 volunteers removed 1.5 tonnes of rubbish, bringing the total for the weekend to at least 1.75 tonnes.
